Microsoft's new robotics release
Microsoft released the new revision of its robotics development software.
Microsoft released the latest version of its robot-building platform for professionals and hobbyists at the RoboDevelopment Conference and Expo in California, on Monday.
This latest version of the software platform offers increased runtime performance and faster load times. Simulations can now be recorded and played back with the Visual Simulation Environment tool to detect possible errors before testing applications on hardware. This new release includes support for Visual Studio 2005 and 2008.
This platform has been supported by plenty of robotics hardware manufacturers and component suppliers.
