ScriptLogic releases Security Explorer for SQL Server
ScriptLogic Corporation, announced today the release of Security Explorer(TM) for SQL Server, which supports Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005, including the SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. Security Explorer makes server security a much simpler task by allowing a tree view of database permissions and point-and-click permissions management, backup and recovery.
Administrators can use Security Explorer for SQL Server to enhance Server security by managing permissions for Windows Authentication users and SQL logins. It also provides a backup and restore function and database permissions. Permissions can be cloned between databases and users who appear in multiple instances. Also allows for searches in multiple databases for users with specific permissions as well as many more new enhancements.
