Microsoft releases near-final version of Internet Explorer 8
On Monday Microsoft released a near-final "release candidate" version of IE 8, the next update of its Web browser.
In this new version Microsoft is adding new feautures especially to reinforce security. Some of this features include private browsing and a new type of add-ons called accelerators, a cross-site encripting filter and protection against a type of attack called clicjacking.
With this improvements Microsoft hopes to regain some lost groud in the Internet browsers market.
Internet Explorer 8 will work with Windows Vista and Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later). A new version of IE 8 is also being built into Windows 7.
